Here are my top 10 80’s movies. I may have some bogus choices on here for you, but for me they helped shape who I am! (that might be a stretch, but just go with it)
10. Young Guns ( you gotta be handy with the steel if you know what I mean, earn your keep)
9. Fast Times @ Ridgemont High – Spikoly
8. Good Morning Vietnam – one of the funniest movies I have seen. Robin Williams did most of his dialogue in improv
7. Batman – classic
6. The Breakfast Club – cult classic and for good reason
5. Back to the Future – “McFly”
4. Karate Kid – Daniel Son – best martial arts movie ever made!!!
3. Big – Every kid wanted to be like Josh and have their own Manhattan apartment.
2. The Wizard – “the power glove, I love the power glove” – one of the best all-time movie quotes
1…. Top Gun – i know, too cliche, but I love this movie, no 80’s movie list would be complete without Top Gun, it just happens to be my favorite
What am I missing that is on your list? What movie do you see on mine that is ridiculous?

10. The Keg – great steak, but expensive
9. Brio – great Italian food – good date place
8. Texas Roadhouse – anywhere you can throw food on the floor, get a good steak, and a cold beer is good for me
7. P.F. Changs – yummy

5. Oregano’s – Great food, good pizza, BIG drinks
4. K.C.’s Sushi Bar – favorite sushi place, get the signature roll
3. Pub n Grub – Coldest beer in AZ , and a great burger
2. El Zocalo – Great Mexican food, and the best patio in AZ
and…
1. BJ’s Brewhouse – All of their food is good, Great drarfts, and the only place that can claim they have the PIZOOKIE ( sorry Oregano’s, you legally can’t call it pizookie, only BJ’s can)
in the eyes of yours truly. My top ten bands/artist of all time.
Just missing the cut… Lifehouse and The Fray
10. Switchfoot
9.Garth Brooks
8. Blessed Union of Souls
7. 2Pac
6. Tim McGraw
5. The Beatles

There you have it. The Josh Barton top ten bands. If I had the August and Everything After album by Counting Crows on repeat all the time then I would be a happy man.
What are your top ten? Which bands shouldn’t have made the list?
